Beyoncé akhirnya menjadi pemenang Album of the Year yang sangat diidam-idamkan di Grammy Awards 2025, setelah sebelumnya tidak berhasil meraih penghargaan tersebut dalam empat nominasi terakhir.
Malam itu, ia datang dengan 11 nominasi untuk albumnya “Cowboy Carter”, menjadikannya sebagai artis dengan jumlah nominasi terbanyak dalam sejarah Grammy, yaitu 99 sepanjang kariernya. Selain meraih Album of the Year, ia juga memenangkan penghargaan untuk Best Country Album dan Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, dan Charli XCX masing-masing mendapatkan tujuh nominasi tahun ini, sementara Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, dan Chappell Roan meraih enam nominasi. Lamar berhasil meraih kemenangan di semua lima kategori yang diikutinya, termasuk Record of the Year dan Song of the Year. Roan juga mencuri perhatian dengan memenangkan penghargaan untuk Artis Baru Terbaik.
Grammy Awards 2025 berlangsung di Crypto.com Arena yang terletak di Los Angeles. Acara tersebut disiarkan secara langsung melalui jaringan CBS dan juga bisa ditonton di Paramount+.
