Hal ini karena rapper ini merupakan salah satu rapper yang sangat meroket pada dekade 90an. Semuanya terima kasih pada satu-satunya hit besar miliknya, ‘Gangsta’s Paradise.’
Bagi kamu-kamu yang seperti gue anak awal 90an. Pastinya sepakat kalau lagu ini ketika rilis, tidak henti-hentinya kita dengarkan. Mau di radio, televisi, bahkan sampai ke mall-mall pun. Kala itu ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’, menjadi salah satu playlist wajib.
Lagu ini juga menjadi soundtrack dari film drama, Dangerous Minds (1995). Yang mana, filmnya dibintangi oleh Michelle Pfeiffer (Ant-Man and the Wasp).
