6. Iris
This action korean drama featuring Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee tells the story of the friendship between Kim Hyun Joon and Jin Sa Woo, they are included in the same organization, the NSS secret organization by analyst Choi Seung Hee.
They both fell in love with Seung Hee. One day, Hyun Joo was given a mission to Hungary. She tried to find out who set her up and find out about IRIS.
Iris Synopsis:
IRIS tells the story of betrayal, trust, and conspiracy of South and North Korean secret agents. Despite the secret agent theme, the drama is also peppered with romance between the characters.
Kim Hyun Joon is one of the secret agents working for the South Korean secret service called NSS, and Vlck is an assassin who works for a secret organization based in the United States called IRIS, Vick has a tough task, that task is to kill Hyun Joon.
Apart from the two of them, there are other characters, namely Jin Sa Woo Sa Woo is Hyun Joon’s friend and can be his enemy, he is also in love with Choi Seung Hee. Seung Hee herself works as a psychological analyst who plays an important role in bringing Hyun Joon into the NSS.
7. Faith
The next action drama, “Faith” tells the story of a knight from the Goryeo Dynasty named Choi Young played by Lee Min-Ho who was traveling to the future (which he thought was the door to the sky). He picked up a woman named Yoo Eun-Soo played by Kim Hae-Soon.
The woman was trapped in the past and forcibly taken to the past by the knight to cure the Queen who was at that time and the doctor could not treat her. Eun-Soo was eventually made a royal physician and waited for the time to return to her world.
Faith Synopsis:
King Gongmin (Ryu Deok-Hwan) was in Yuan (China) for some time and was appointed King of Goryeo (Korea). He married Princess Nogoog (Taman Se-Young) who was the princess of Yuan.
Choi Young (Lee Min-Ho) and his men escorted King Gongmin and Princess Nogoog from Yuan to Georyeo. On the way to Georyeo, a group of criminals had staked him out at an inn.
The group of villains then entered the inn and attacked the king and his men. During the fight, Princess Nogoog’s neck was slashed with the villain’s sword. Jang Bin (Phillip Lee) who was a famous doctor in Goryeo declared that he could not save Princess Nogoog.
If Princess Nogoong died, Yuan would take over the Goryeo kingdom completely. So King Gongmin’s followers asked King Gongmin to go pray on the mountain near the source of the mystical light. When they got there, they saw mysterious lights swirling around the entrance to an empty room. King Gongmin’s followers then told the King that the swirling lights were actually portals where they could retrieve great doctors from the sky.
King Gongmin then assigned Choi Young to enter the portal and retrieve the greatest doctor there. After entering the mystical revolving light, Choi Young found himself in a temple. When he left the temple, Choi Young was confused by the strange scenery there. He saw modern buildings, cars and contemporary people.
