Nah tapi gaung awal band ini justru baru bergaung kencang ketika merilis album keduanya, Drops of Jupiter pada tahun 2001. Gaungan kencangnya ini difaktori oleh lagu yang berjudul sama dengan albumnya tersebut.
Selain karena lirik lagu ‘Drops of Jupiter yang sangat dalam lagi emosional. Faktor lain yang membuat lagu ini keren banget adalah komposisi lagunya yang terdengar sangat epik. Hal ini juga ditambah dengan vokal Pat Monahan yang sangat mengagumkan.
